About Iridescent

I have always wanted to be a storyteller. Iridescent Waves started in high school and was paused until recently, when I remembered my love for dramatic romance stories, especially from Japanese manga (shoujo manga).

This story is about the fear of connecting with someone who has experienced something similar. When thinking about the past, is it important to remember everything or let it go? The main character experiences amnesia in college and reads her childhood to teenage diaries to understand these new people in her life and try to get her memories back.

Iridescent is a coming of age story about finding out who you are through your memories, others perceptions of you, and the emotions attached to those memories. When Ivy tries to hide away these key pieces of herself she slowly loses her identity.
