STARTING PATREON (2025 reboot)
Hello everyone,
I’d like to announce that I’m reopening my Patreon. I took a long hiatus in 2024, and I want to softly explain that my absence was due to some difficult life events that affected my drive to work on projects. I won’t go into too much detail, but I unexpectedly lost close family members, and in my art career, someone who I worked with and trusted had lied to me, and that lie cost me a lot of money.
That being said, I’m reopening my Patreon because I’m ready to start working on projects again and sharing them more consistently. I’ve revamped my website and am beginning to post on social media more regularly.
I’m launching my Patreon to offer those who have the means a way to support my work. Life is hard and expensive, but with the support of my patrons, I’ll be able to fund and upgrade the projects I’m passionate about.
Thank you for being here—I’m excited to create and share with you all again. 💜
WHY PATREON
I'm starting my Patreon to give people who have the means the opportunity to support my work. Life is hard and expensive, and with the support of Patreon, I would be able to fund and upgrade the projects I'm working on.
WHAT YOU GET
As a Patreon supporter, you will, first and foremost, get early access to anything I am working on.
Once I set up an Etsy shop, you will receive perks such as extra or discounted items.
Any digital items I sell for under $5 will be complimentary to Patreon supporters.
If I gain more supporters, I will reevaluate and add more perks as needed.
WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES
Life is expensive. Since I work a full-time job, I can't focus on art full-time, but your support will help me dedicate more time to my projects. With patron support, I will be able to upgrade the tech I use to create. Currently, I use a mix of paid tools I own and free resources I can find. I will keep you all updated on what I’m using.
Eventually, I would love to travel to more conventions. Depending on the games I am working on, I may also use funds to pay other artists for music, writing, or other needs as they arise.
HOW I WORK
I currently have a lot of life responsibilities and a full-time job, so I work on art during my free time, primarily on weekends. I tend to juggle multiple projects at once—this helps me stay productive when I hit creative roadblocks. If inspiration strikes, I may focus heavily on one project for a while. As a Patreon supporter, you’ll see me moving back and forth between different projects.
I also collaborate with other artists and friends. If they allow, I will share early sketches and works-in-progress. With Patreon, I’d also love to hear your thoughts on the projects I'm working on.
Projects I am working on: Stories, Art, Merch
STORIES
I'm working on storytelling and developing a visual novel game. This is a new medium for me, so it will take time to learn coding, video editing, animation, and music production.
Kiss Kiss Panic
Kiss Kiss Panic is a collaborative project between me and my friend Cody. This project will take a long time since we are creating a visual novel game with multiple endings and choices. Since Cody is generously helping with this project, I also work around his schedule.
Mírame Press
This project started as an artist magazine idea and has evolved into a supernatural art magazine that has inspired a visual novel story. Initially, I planned to create a magazine featuring supernatural-themed artwork, but now, I’m learning to animate creatures within photographs—like found footage horror.
I am working on several stories in this world, where a character finds and subscribes to this supernatural magazine, leading to eerie experiences.
Some of the stories stemming from Mírame Press include:
Eat Your Heart Out
Midnight Hot Dog
Into Dusk
My goal is to publish a few magazine issues as downloadable PDFs and eventually as physical copies. The stories will begin as storyboards and later evolve into a simple visual novel game with minimal choices, making them quicker to complete.
Midnight Hot Dog
Two friends ditch their early date for a midnight run to Circle K for hot dogs. One finds the Mírame Press Magazine and begins seeing supernatural beings, while the other remains oblivious to them.
Into Dusk
A man in his late twenties is house-sitting for a family member when he spots a ghostly figure placing mail in his mailbox. Among the mail, he finds a Mirame Press magazine subscription. Soon after, he starts seeing ghosts around his neighborhood and tries to track down the mysterious postman, who only appears at dusk.
Eat Your Heart Out
In the mid-to-late 2000s, a group of office workers is invited to a company retreat at a beach resort. Mysterious murders start happening around them, and one of their coworkers is found with their heart eaten out of their chest. In this eerie mystery, the group must uncover the identity of the heart-eating killer. Expect plenty of love triangles!
ARTIST ALLEY STORIES
To practice animation, I've started creating short, lighthearted stories inspired by my experiences working at artist alleys at conventions and art markets. These stories are silly, fun, and filled with cute, quirky interactions.
BACKGROUND PROJECTS (COMICS)
Beyond the Snow
Iridescent Waves
Ghostly Grove
I've put my comic book projects on hiatus due to the time commitment they require. These stories are very dear to me, and I plan to revisit them when inspiration strikes. Currently, I am in the writing phase.
(Astral Panic Demon Chick)
ART
After my first solo show, Astral Panic, I discovered my passion for creating paintings and drawings inspired by themes and messages that can be displayed in physical spaces.
I want to continue developing projects for a future solo show. Astral Panic received a positive response for addressing my experiences with panic attacks and anxiety, which motivates me to keep making art that resonates emotionally.
MERCH/PRODUCT
Having participated in conventions and art markets for a long time, I love meeting fellow artists and new fans. However, traveling to conventions is expensive and sometimes risky.
I would love to keep attending conventions, but in the meantime, I plan to start selling my merch on Etsy.
Currently, I sell some of my work online through Kei Collective and Threadless. Both have been wonderful to work with, and I hope to keep creating for them as well.
